The game
A place on the map, four answers, one right. +2 for a
correct answer, −1 for a wrong one. Running out of
time counts as wrong.
Two question types
Name It — the map highlights a place and you pick its name.
Find It — you are given a name, four pins drop on the map,
and you tap the right one.
Moving the map
Drag to pan and pinch to zoom, at any point during a round.
Two pins close together are always separable if you zoom in — you
are never guessing at a dot.
The map never tilts and never spins off-axis: north stays up, so
there is nothing to reset and no way to get lost.
The clock
15 to 45 seconds per question, or turn it off entirely for
no time limit. It is in Settings, and it is the only difficulty
dial — the map is never made harder to see.
Modes
Race ends at your chosen target, 10 to 100 points. Fall to half
the target below zero and the run is over.
Endless has no failure state at all. It runs until you quit.
After every answer
Right or wrong, a panel tells you about the correct answer — the
country a river crosses, a lake's area, a capital's population —
and the round waits for Next. In Find It, all four pins are
named, so you learn the three you did not pick as well.
Two players
Pass and play on one device. The screen covers itself between turns.
Badges
23 of them, for streaks, comebacks, fast answers and clean runs. Most
can be earned again and keep a count.
